About HaliPuu
HaliPuu ('a tree to hug') is a family-run forest about 10 km from Levi, created by the Raekallio family to save their inherited forest and open it to visitors. It offers guided forest experiences, campfire and forest-café visits, arctic hammock sleepovers, and a signature tree-adoption programme, and hosts the annual TreeHugging World Championships. It has been covered by CNN, Forbes and Atlas Obscura.
