Safartica

Established in 2002, Safartica runs guided winter safaris across the Levi and Kittilä wilderness — snowmobile and husky safaris, reindeer sleigh rides, northern-lights tours, ice fishing, snowshoeing and Arctic ice floating — using its own safari equipment rather than sub-contracting. In 2021 it launched Aurora eMotion, the world's first electric snowmobile tours. Trips depart from the Safartica base at Hiihtäjänkuja 10 in Sirkka, minutes from Levi centre, with winter clothing, equipment and English-language guiding included.
