Most of Levi village is walkable — cleared paths in winter, dry trails in summer, well-lit, fifteen minutes corner-to-corner. With proper layers and grip-soled boots the cold isn't the obstacle people expect. Bikes turn the same trails into a 30-minute loop, open up the gondola downhill in summer, and let you reach lakeside spots beyond the village. The bike scene is genuinely seasonal — the bike that's right depends entirely on when you're here.

In winter, fat bikes — oversized winter tyres, low pressure, made for snow — are the equivalent of a mountain bike on cleared snow trails. Operators tune the tyres for current snow conditions; some include studded options. Summer opens up mountain bikes and e-bikes for the Levi Bike Park (gondola downhill access from May–September), lakeside loops, and forest trails. E-scooters appear in the shoulder seasons — May and October — when paths are clear of snow but the bike park hasn't opened.
